Teleflex Medical OEM is showing off some of its coatings and suture technology at BIOMEDevice Boston, May 15-16.

Teleflex is also touting its braiding technology at the show. The technology can divide sutures into multiple end branches and integrate several loops within a strand. Its braiding process can help make different variations of complex, divided segments at the end of a suture or between singular round and flat tape segments.

The company also has hydrophilic coatings designed for polymer-based devices that can be navigated through the vascular system.
