Tekni-Plex’s Dunn, Natvar
Dunn currently manufactures custom medical tubing for diagnostic and interventional devices from thermoplastics. Some of the thermoplastics it uses include polyether block amides, thermoplastic polyurethanes, thermoplastic elastomers, polyamides, polyolefin and more.
Natvar is touting its new silicone tubing capabilities that have inside diameters of 0.2-25 mm and wall thicknesses from 01.10-3.0 mm. The silicone tubing also has tolerances as low as +/- 0.03 mm. It is designed to be used in a variety of medical pump applications like peristaltic and patient-controlled analgesia pumps.
